Evolution of the News paper

As the world becomes more advance so will the forms in which they inform us on the daily news. News papers are a thing of the past. This is not saying that their will be no news papers ever. But todays is media orientated. Just one article with plain text isn't enough in todays world. There should be internal links that can back up the story, or connect you to more information as you read more. Todays viewer like to learn the facts on there own so just your statement won't be enough. Providing the link online allows them to make there judgement of material thats not picking a side.

Major news papers such as TheNewYorkTimes would not be able to keep up with its new and old viewers if they didn't adapt to the changes that are occurring. The movement that the newspapers are doing are things of the past for many college news papers. UW-Richland's newspaper went completely online at theonlineexpress. As a previous reporter of the online express they believed that papers were a thing of the past.

Papers should not be totally gone. Every paper should still print so there is a hard copy of everything. If the computers crashed or the internet went down its good to go back to the good old paper sources.

So is the need for paper news papers gone? Yes. Should they stop printing them in general? No. Should online papers become the new print paper from now on? Yes.
